After a two year apprenticeships in Banja Koviljaca, Kuzman Martinovic takes a tailor position at the tailoring cooperative "Moda" in Loznica. He achives his craftsman degree in Sabac in 1957. Working at the cooperative, he distinguishes him self with high quality work and gains a large number of clients who ask for him exclusively.
Pressured by demands of clients and work load, Kuzman Martinovic leaves the cooperative to open his own shop in downtown Loznica. With the buisness expanding, in 1965 he buys a shop in the house of a merchant Katic, today a meuseum of the painter Mica Popovic. Although Loznica was a small town at the time, the construction of the new factory "Viskoza" created a population boom, which provided an opportunity to gain considerable expiriance. He employed new staff and apprentices, many of whom later opened thair own shops across the country and abroad.
With the tailoring buisness constantly expanding, Kuzman Martinovic moves with his family to Belgrade in 1969. By the March of that same year he takes over, as manager, the shop of Masutkovic and continues the work under the name of Martinovic Tailor Shop.
